Introducing Doctor Gidon Frame:
Doctor Gidon Frame is a family physician with a special interest in preventative health care and cosmetic treatments. He is the medical director of both Old Orchard Medical Clinic in Burnaby (14 years) and Anti-Aging Medical & Laser Clinic in Vancouver (6 years). Dr Frame is passionate about offering patients quality medical care. He was trained in Johannesburg, South Africa. After graduating, he developed a keen interest in preventative medicine working at the Baragwaneth Hospital in Soweto and then at the Alexandra Health Centre in Alexandra Township. He taught medical students, trained community health workers and worked extensively with early days AIDS research and education. With a deepened understanding of preventative and regenerative health, Doctor Frame, moved to Canada, became certified in Family Practice and worked in rural Saskatchewan, northern Manitoba and for 15 years in Burnaby, BC. This primary, preventative family medicine exposure led Doctor Frame to study Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine and complete the ABAARM (American Board of Anti-Aging & Regenerative Medicine) certification. Doctor Frame is one of the few British Columbia GPs to actively study hormone health and human longevity. He has been active in this field at his Anti-Aging Medical & Laser Clinic in Kerrisdale, Vancouver.
Doctor Frame's passion for regenerative medicine has since expanded to include cosmetic medicine. His areas of special interest include cosmetic dermatology, aesthetic fractional laser skin resurfacing. This includes treatment of scars, wrinkles, rough skin, sun damage, age spots and melasma. He also has extensive experience and training with Botox and filler injections. He has developed his own style of injectable filler use called the Luxlift, the non-surgical facelift and brow lift. He has become a trusted and skilled injector with fillers at both clinics, using Restylane, Perlane and Juvederm. Dr Frame and his aesthetician staff have seen exceptional results from IPL photo-rejuvenation for sun damage effects and rosacea. Laser hair reduction is provided by the fast and effective EpiAlex laser system.
Dr Frame is a passionate doctor with an excellent bedside manner, appreciated by his patients, staff and his pupils. Dr Frame has been training medical students for the University of British Columbia. He is now a Clinical Assistant Professor for University of British Columbia, Department of Family Practice. His students are in awe of his communication skills, knowledge and ability to transmit information clearly to the lay person. He works closely with his team of doctors and staff. Dr Frame prides himself as being a genuine passionate doctor with a zest for life.
