Juvederm Efficacy and Safety

Patients who are using blood-thinning medications, such as aspirin or ibuprofen, as with any injection, may experience increased bruising or bleeding at the injection site . There may be some redness and tenderness at the injections site, and some post-injection bruising, or mild swelling, which usually resolves itself within a few days. If laser treatment, chemical peeling, or any other procedure based on active dermal response is considered after treatment with Juvederm injectable gel, there is a possible risk of an inflammatory reaction at the treatment site.
