Erectile dysfunction (ED) is a medical condition. It is a concern when a man is unable to achieve and maintain an erection, resulting in reduced sexual satisfaction. It is estimated that nearly 50% of Canadian men over the age of 40 suffer from erectile dysfunction (ED). “Sexual performance” includes sexual intercourse, solo practice (masturbation), partner activity, or other stimulatory methods.

A small amount of your blood is drawn, centrifuged to concentrate platelets. This is then injected back into your penis. Local anesthetic cream makes this quick procedure more comfortable.

How do Penile Consultations Work?
Any man who has ED could benefit from Penile treatments. As long as you have normal platelets in your blood, that can be used for Penile injections. Platelet-Rich-Plasma is your plasma extracted from your own blood, concentrated to capture your platelets. These platelets release growth factors which rejuvenate tissue, improve blood flow and promote healing.

Our Process
Before you start any treatment, you will need to complete a SHIM Questionnaire form. The week prior to your Penile treatment, don’t use ASA, anti-inflammatories, any supplements that can block platelet function. We provide a local anesthetic cream for you to apply to your penis. This is done for 30 minutes, just before the procedure.
During your Penile consultation, your blood is drawn and spun down in a centrifuge. The plasma is extracted from your blood and injected into your penis. The procedure takes only 15 minutes and pain is minimal due to the local anesthetic and tiny needle used. A tourniquet holds the plasma in place for 5 minutes afterwards.
After your Penile consultation, when you’re home, you may apply a penile pump for 15 minutes daily during the first 14 days post-treatment. Follow up appointments will be booked, to assess the results.

We advise 3 Penile treatments for $2805. Individual treatments cost $1400 each.
