What are eyebrow lines?
Eyebrow lines appear at the outer edge of the brow when the eyebrows are raised are also known as “C” lines or comma lines. Although they come with age, and overuse of eyebrow lifting, they can be an inadvertent result of a Botox brow lift. As the eyebrows are raised to tighten skin in the upper eyelid, these “C” lines appear above the eyebrow.
What can be done?
- Careful eyebrow lift with balancing using neuromodulators such as Botox, Xeomin or Dysport to avoid “C” lines.
- Soft dermal fillers such as Emervel,® Juvederm Volbella , Restylane Fine Lines or Belotero® to fill these lines.
- Thermage CPT Radiofrequency to tighten the eyebrow and forehead skin.
- Fraxel Dual 1550/1927 Laser Resurfacing to smooth permanent lines.
