Enhancing the beauty of your lips and achieving the lip shape, contours and fullness that you desire, can all be accomplished at our clinic. You don’t need to undergo surgery to get your dream lips. We provide non-invasive cosmetic treatments for lips, and non-surgical lip enhancements. This includes injecting soft and natural-looking dermal fillers to provide fullness, and Fraxel Laser Skin Resurfacing or INFINI Microneedling to reduce the appearance of fine lines around the lips, thus rejuvenating their youthful appearance. Below are some solutions we provide for beautiful, enhanced, perfect lips:

Lip Border Loss

What is it?

Reduce Lip Border Loss

When the edge or the border around your lips begins to lose definition, your lips appear thinner and less defined. Lipstick becomes very difficult to apply evenly, and fine lines begin to form. The loss of border definition in the lips is a sign of aging, and correcting this problem can result in younger-looking lips.

What can be done?

Redefining the lip border is a fundamental component of lip enhancement, and our expert physicians use lip fillers such as Belotero, Restylane and Juvederm to re-create the shape of your lips. Lip fillers are injected along the border of your lips to subtly redefine the shape of the lips. By using a subtle amount of filler, we avoid the “duck lips” look and the result is natural and beautiful.

You won’t feel much discomfort during this treatment, as our physicians apply numbing cream before the treatment. The lip filler itself also has an anaesthetic agent in it, which keeps the treatment even more comfortable.

The results from this treatment last between 6 and 12 months.

Lip Corners

What is it?

Often the corners of the lips may frown. If they pull downwards, creating an unintended sad effect this can be addressed with neuromodulator (Botox, Xeomin, Dysport) to relax the muscle (depressor anguli oris) that pulls this part of the face down.

What can be done?

If the lips in the corners have been recessed or lost their volume this can be sculpted with HA (Hyaluronic Acid) to support the lip corners and correct the surrounding tissue deformation associated with the lip corner.

Often this correction will give you a smile with lips showing and more youthful and happy look.

Lip Thinning

What is it?

It can be distressing when our lips lack the fullness that we desire, especially if we once had much more luscious and full lips at a younger age. Some of us are simply wanting to get the fullness we once had back, but others have actually always had thin lips and therefore seek to finally have that sensual fullness. For many of us, having full lips is the dream and the idea of achieving this in one short treatment is beyond exciting.

Thinning lips and volume loss with age are common, and this loss of volume can make the area between your lips and your nose (the philtrum) appear longer and less feminine. Even the most subtle of lip enhancement treatments can make a surprisingly desirable difference.

What can be done?

Our Medical Director, Dr. Gidon Frame, can custom-design the lips of your dreams in your consultation. Fuller lips are easily achieved with soft and natural-looking fillers such as Belotero, Restylane or Juvederm Ultra. The key is to not make your lips look overdone or duck-like, but rather naturally enhanced and subtly – yet noticeably – fuller. Your lips need to remain in balance with the rest of your face and give a ‘just applied gloss’ look by increasing the visible surface.

Lip filler not only fills out thinning lips, it also smooths out the lines in your lips which creates a youthful, luscious and rejuvenated end result. Most people prefer to start with smaller amounts of lip filler, and have their lips touched up every 6 months. With numbing cream applied, and an anaesthetic in the filler itself, gone are the days of discomfort during lip enhancement.
