Thinning hair refers to minor hair loss or thinning of the hair, as opposed to balding. Thin hair can be a result of many factors including over-treating, using harsh products, stress and lack of iron in your diet. Although thinning hair is a natural and common part of aging, it can affect ones confidence by making them look older than they feel. While this concern is most common amongst men, women also lose hair as they age.

During your consultation at Anti-aging Clinic, we evaluate the cause of your thinning hair and which treatment or combination of treatments will result in restoration of your hair and prevention of further hair loss.
To restore hair, a method of injection using the natural plasma from your own blood, called PRP, is used. Blood is drawn and spun in a centrifuge to separate the platelets from the rest of the blood. Platelets are a component of blood containing growth factors and proteins that help to heal the skin when we get a cut. By extracting platelets from the rest of the blood we are concentrating these healing properties and can inject them into the skin to promote new cell growth.
