Before the Treatment

The week before your treatment, avoid red wine and anti-inflammatories, such as Advil and ibuprofen to avoid unnecessary bruising. Before your treatment, lidocaine, a local anaesthetic numbing cream is applied to the skin for your comfort. 

During the Treatment

During the injection, you may experience some pressure at and around the injection area.

After the Treatment

You may experience redness and swelling in the injection area, which will subside in 24–48 hours.

Required maintenance varies depending on the individual, in general this injectable will last  up to 9 months, or longer. After this time you will require maintenance.
